A new book in the original Diary of a Wimpy Kid series, Big Shot is the sixteenth installment in the series. The book 15 is complete, according to Jeff Kinney, who tweeted that he was busy with both books 15 and 16. It was revealed by Kinney to The Boston Globe that the book would be a sports story, one the author wanted to tell for quite a while. The author said he finally “nailed it” with the book. In 2021, Amazon will release a teaser of the book. May 26th, 2021 was the date the cover was published. In 2021, a book will be released on October 26th.
